2013 Commencement Speakers May 26, 2013 The folks above will not be graduating with the Class of 2013. They graduated quite a while ago. And their commencement speeches didnt go viral. Who are the 2013 commencement speakers among the highly selective colleges, you ask? Weve got the list for you in spades. Speaking at Harvard University this year will be none other than Oprah Winfrey. At Yale University will be the Mayor of Newark (and candidate for U.S. Senate) Cory Booker. David Remnick, the Editor of The New Yorker will give the commencement address at Princeton University. Melinda Gates, to no surprise, will give the address at her alma mater Duke University. The president of the University of Michigan, Mary Sue Coleman, will give the address at Caltech. Michael Bloomberg, the Mayor of the City of New York will give the address at Stanford University. At Cornell University, Cory Booker will give another commencement address. At Vanderbilt, author Toni Morrison will address the graduating Class of 2013. At Wash U, guess who will be giving the commencement address? None other than Cory Booker! Hes busy this graduation season, huh? At the University of Pennsylvania, Vice President Joe Biden will address the graduating class. MIT will have the youngest graduation speaker in its history when the CEO of Dropbox, Drew Houston, addresses MIT grads.
